Configuration

Navigate to Pybara Donate → Settings in your WordPress admin.

Toggle the plugin on or off. When disabled, the donation widget will not render on your site even if embedded via shortcode or block. This is useful for temporarily pausing donations without uninstalling the plugin.

This is where you connect your receiving wallet — the address where donations land.

Click Connect Pybara Wallet to authenticate with Internet Identity and automatically link your Pybara Wallet principal. This is the fastest and most secure method.

Select Other wallet and paste your principal ID manually. This works with any ICP-compatible wallet or canister:

After pasting your principal, click Verify Principal to confirm it is valid and reachable on the IC mainnet.

Read-only panel showing which tokens are currently active on the Pybara protocol. Donors can pay with any displayed token. The list updates automatically if a token is ever disabled at the protocol level.

Controls how the donation widget looks and behaves.

Choose how the widget colors its background and text:

  • Light — white background, dark text (default)
  • Dark — dark background, light text
  • Auto — detects the surrounding page background and switches automatically. Updates reactively if a JavaScript theme switcher or OS dark-mode preference changes.

The highlight color used for buttons, active states, and links. Enter a hex value (e.g. #7c3aed) or use the color picker. The widget automatically clamps low-contrast values to remain legible.

Select the fiat currency used to display amounts in the widget. This is a display preference — donations are always settled in the chosen crypto token on-chain.

Supported currencies: USD, EUR, GBP, CAD, AUD, CHF, JPY, BRL, MXN, INR, SGD, HKD, NOK, SEK, DKK, PLN, NZD.

Configure up to 5 suggested donation amounts shown as buttons in the widget. Type a number and press Enter or comma to add it as a tag. Click × to remove.

  • Maximum: 5 amounts
  • Default: 5, 10, 25, 50
  • At least one amount is required

When enabled, donors can type any amount in addition to the preset buttons. Enabled by default.

When enabled, donors can set up recurring pledges. Enabled by default.

Visible when recurring is enabled. Sets which frequency option is pre-selected when a donor opens the widget: Weekly, Monthly (default), or Yearly.

Visible when recurring is enabled. Sets the pre-selected pledge length: 3 months, 6 months, 12 months (default), 24 months, or Unlimited.

Optional text fields that appear directly in the donation widget.

Heading displayed above the amount selector. Leave blank for no heading.

Sub-heading below the title. Useful for a short campaign message. Leave blank to omit.

Text on the donate button. Defaults to Donate. Use this to match your campaign voice — “Give”, “Support”, “Back us”, etc.

Text shown to the donor after a successful donation. Leave blank to use the default (“You’re all set!”).

If set, the donor is redirected to this URL after a successful donation instead of seeing the thank you message. Useful for a custom thank you page.

Displays your current commission rate and its status. Recipients who process their first donation in 2026 or 2027 lock in that rate for life.

The widget language is derived automatically from your WordPress site language (Settings → General → Site Language). No configuration needed.

Supported languages: English, French, Spanish, German. For any other WordPress locale, the widget falls back to the visitor’s browser language.

Some features can be temporarily suspended at the protocol level by Pybara — for example during a security response or scheduled maintenance. When this happens:

  • Widget suspended — the donation widget will not render even if the plugin is enabled. Your settings are preserved and the widget resumes automatically when the suspension is lifted.
  • Recurring suspended — the recurring donations option is hidden from donors. One-time donations continue to work normally.

When a suspension is active, a notice appears on the plugin settings page.

Volatile token donations can be automatically converted to a stablecoin at the time of settlement. See AutoStable for setup and options.

Click Save Settings at the bottom of the page. Settings take effect immediately on the live widget.
