Block Checkout

Block Checkout is WooCommerce’s modern checkout experience, built with the WooCommerce Checkout block. It is the default on newer themes such as Storefront and most block-based themes.

How it works

Pybara appears as a payment option in the block checkout. When the customer selects it and clicks Place Order, the Pybara modal opens to complete the payment. No redirect, no page change.

The customer completes the payment in the modal:

  1. Selects a wallet
  2. Connects their wallet
  3. Selects a token
  4. Approves the transfer
  5. Payment confirmed — order placed

The order is marked as paid automatically.

Requirements

  • WooCommerce 8.3 or later
  • Pybara WooCommerce Suite installed and enabled
  • A valid recipient principal configured in Pybara → Settings

Compatibility

Block Checkout works with any theme using the WooCommerce Checkout block. No additional configuration is required.
