Pybara Donate Widget

The Pybara donate widget brings Pybara to any website, whatever it is built with: a few lines of code, no plugin, no WordPress. It starts with donations, and will grow with the widgets Pybara offers.

WordPress?

On a WordPress site, use a plugin instead: Pybara Donate for donations, Pybara for WooCommerce for a shop. They are set up from WordPress and do not need this section.

The widget is managed from Pybara Wallet, with no plugin settings in between:

  • Your site is set up in the wallet’s Sites panel, with Add a site without a plugin.
  • Your donations arrive in the wallet, like those from any other site.
  • AutoStable applies as for every site paid into the wallet: see AutoStable.
  • The fee is Pybara’s one platform fee, 1% locked for life for sites that go live in 2026: see Pricing.

The widget shows nothing on a site until two things are done, both in Pybara Wallet:

  1. The site’s DNS record lists your wallet, which proves the domain allows your wallet to be paid.
  2. Your wallet has accepted the widget’s terms for that site. When newer terms are published, the wallet asks you to accept them; widget updates that need them won’t show on that site until you do.

See Setup for both steps, and Architecture for how a donation flows.
